Ellie Jane Goulding is a British woman born on December 30, 1986. Her mother Tracey Goulding-Summers worked at an ice cream shop and the father Arthur Goulding was a member of an undertaker family. Goulding is the second child with a brother called Alex as well as an older sister called Isabel as well as a sister known as Jordan. Alex is her older brother, and she plays the bass for an Hereford group. When she was young her mother advised her to be music teacher. When she was in the 9th grade she took up the clarinet. In her teens, she began creating her first music however she didn't take up songwriting seriously until her college days. Goulding became interested in electronic music while she studied. She came across Frankmusik an artist and record producer through MySpace. With his help she developed her own folktronica style. Jamie Lillywhite was a scout who came across her at that time.
